Project 72 update.......

Well .....made some progress and we are now getting some original panels sourced. Wings, doors, bonnet all done. Deck lid yet to be found.

Body is now seperated and will lifted off the floor this weekend ready for the welding to start along with finishing off the floor.

More parts will be sourced at voo woo 2011. Pics to follow in due course.

So whats next then.......

So you should by now understand what we are all about. Over the coming weeks and months we will be sharing with you our new build. Its a 72 Beetle which at the moment is a little worse for ware..... In fact its only a rolling shell , however we intend to turn this into a draw dropping resto with all the usual mods including a narrowed and lowered beam, period paint, lots of chrome and a mild engine revamp. As we have mentioned in our profile these are not cheque book cars they are built from the heart

We are some way from paint and we are currently collecting a lot of the panels and period parts before we start full on with the project . We will be adding some pictures of the car in its current state along with some shots of what we intend it to look like

Thanks for the comments and views so far. We have only had the blog running for a few days and we have already had views and response from U.S as well as some of our good freinds here in the UK.
